Write an Article
We seek writers of all kinds to help us inform, entertain, and enrich our readership. In small, rural communities like ours, journalism is vital for connecting neighbors, keeping the local economy strong, and sharing/discovering the many resources available to us. Whether it’s covering events, interviewing local business owners, writing opinion pieces, or just sharing a great story, we want you to write for us! Even if you just have a one-time story to share, we want to hear from you. Come be a part of the Hay River Review team. You never know how much your actions can positively impact others.

In small communities like ours, you might think everyone hears about everything, but that’s not always true. We rely on our readers to let us know what is happening. If you know of an upcoming event or a topic that’s especially relevant to our readership, please let us know in as much detail as you can. Although we can’t guarantee coverage of all story ideas, it really helps us to know what’s important to you.

Join the Hay River Review Board
Serving on our Board of Directors is a great opportunity for connection and impact. Board members keep the Hay River Review a dynamic monthly newspaper serving our readers, businesses, and other institutions. Meetings are usually about an hour long, every other month, and conducted via Zoom. Terms are for three years, with renewal a possibility.
