There’s no reason to be bored this weekend. Two local events happening are the annual Prairie Farm garage sales and a Kentucky Derby Fundraiser in Ridgeland.
Prairie Farm Ladies Civic Club – Garage Sales
Garage sales are Thursday, 5/2 through Saturday, 5/4. Sales information can be found on the Prairie Farm Ladies Civic Club Facebook page. Paper copies of each garage sale location, date, and time are also available at Sara’s Hometown Market and the Prairie Farm River Country Cenex. — Cindy Miller
Fundraiser for Ridgeland Pickleball Courts
The Ridgeland Improvement Committee is kicking off the summer with a Kentucky Derby Fundraiser on Saturday, May 4 at the Drunk’n Monkey Bar & Hotel. Activities start at 4 p.m.
This is our second year hosting this fundraiser. The funds will be earmarked for our pickleball courts in Ridgeland. Activities include hat judging for both male, female, and couples; and a donation raffle for a gas grill, rounds of golf, and many other items from our local businesses.
